Our Perfumers

At Olfactory NYC, we work with master perfumers who have shaped some of the world's most iconic fragrances. Their expertise and creativity ensure each scent we craft is of the highest quality, offering a truly unique and personalized experience.

Master Perfumer

Frank Voelkl

Frank's earliest years in rural Germany moved him to scent. Fresh rain and barnyard hay first piqued his olfactive curiosity. He often travels to French Polynesia, where its intoxicating air is redolent of the colors and scents of nature in their purest forms, serving to refresh his creative verve.

Master Perfumer

Honorine Blanc

Honorine's character was shaped by formative years spent in Beirut and its dynamic, refined culture. A voracious reader, she brings passion and energy to her creative process. Although a perfectionist, she wants to create fragrances that are “themselves imperfect and addictive, filled with new ideas, tensions and emotions."

Master Perfumer

Harry Fremont

One of the most revered creative minds in fragrance, Harry grew up admiring his father's craftsmanship in painting and sculpting. He saw first-hand what can be achieved with imagination and hard work. Today, Harry finds inspiration in warm relationships and draws his energy from daily private retreats, which serve to foster his olfactive genius.

Master Perfumer

Annie Buzantian

A master perfumer, Annie has always been driven by the insatiable desire to challenge the old perceptions of perfumery and to create modern beauty. With each new fragrance, she seeks to reinvent the category with which she is working.

Master Perfumer

Ilias Ermenidis

Ilias's friends describe him as a "philosopher perfumer," appropriate for a man who draws inspiration from so many cultural sources. With his unquenchable thirst for knowledge, he believes that “Everything is inspiring - even a boring dinner!”

Master Perfumer

Gabriela Chelariu

Gabi draws on her childhood in rural Romania for her olfactive inspiration, specifically her memories of her grandma's garden and the spring peonies, lilies, tobacco plants, linden, and armoise. As a perfumer, she is known for her fresh concoctions mixing summery fruity notes with seductive florals.

Master Perfumer

Clement Gavarry

Clement Gavarry draws inspiration from his upbringing in France, where he was surrounded by the vibrant scents of his father's perfumery work. He is known for his masterful blending of rich, sophisticated ingredients, often combining woody, earthy notes with delicate florals and vibrant citrus accents. His creations reflect a balance of elegance and complexity, making him a renowned figure in modern perfumery.
